Frequently Asked Questions.

Everything you need to know about skip bin hire, waste types, and delivery.

How long can I keep the skip bin?

Our standard hire period is typically 7 days. If you need it for longer or shorter, please let us know at the time of booking so we can accommodate your schedule.

What can and cannot go into a skip bin?

Most general waste, green waste, and construction debris are allowed. However, hazardous materials such as asbestos, chemicals, oils, paints, and gas cylinders are strictly prohibited.

Do I need a permit for the skip bin?

If the bin is placed on your private property (driveway or yard), you do not need a permit. If it needs to be placed on a road or footpath, a council permit is required. Check our Council Permits page for more info.

How much notice do I need to give for a delivery?

We usually recommend 24 hours' notice, but we can often provide same-day delivery if you call us before 10:00 AM.
